How to pay at Driftwoods Clothing, the moment your payment is collected and the name it carries on your statement.

Payment options

• PayPal: use the money in your PayPal balance, or any bank account or card you have connected to PayPal.
• Cards through PayPal’s guest checkout: a PayPal account is not needed. Choose PayPal at checkout and then the option to pay by debit or credit card. Where PayPal provides guest checkout, this covers the card brands PayPal supports in your country, for example Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
• PayPal Pay Later: offered at checkout only if PayPal extends it to your purchase in your location.

Prices and charges are always in U.S. dollars (USD). Cryptocurrency, cash on delivery, checks, money orders, wire transfers and other retailers’ gift cards are not accepted. Whatever appears at checkout is what your order can use.

How card details are protected

PayPal processes every payment. It is PCI DSS compliant, and the connection is encrypted with HTTPS. You type card or bank details into PayPal’s own window, never into our site, so those details do not reach our server and Driftwoods Clothing never sees or keeps them.

Timing of the charge

The full amount is charged when the order is placed, because production starts soon after checkout. If you cancel within 6 hours and before printing begins, the full amount is returned. Our Cancellation & Modification Policy sets out the conditions.

Declined payments

A payment is usually declined for one of four reasons: the billing address differs from the one on the card, there are not enough funds, the card has expired, or the bank or PayPal has flagged the payment as unusual. Confirm your details, speak with the card issuer or PayPal, and try once more. If it still fails, email us and we will help.

Tax and duties

Sales tax is not collected at present. Should that change, the tax will be listed separately in the checkout summary before payment. For parcels delivered outside the U.S., import duties and taxes are the recipient’s responsibility; our Shipping Policy has the details.

Where refunds are sent

Approved refunds are returned to the card or PayPal account used for the purchase within 5–10 business days. Your statement may take a few more days to reflect the credit. When a refund applies is explained in our Return & Refunds Policy.

The name on your statement

Payments to us appear on card and bank statements as PAYPAL *DRIFTWOODS. A charge you cannot place? Send us its date and amount by email before you contact your bank; we will match it to an order and reply within 24 hours on business days.
