Shipping Policy
Each order is produced after it is placed and then handed to a carrier. This page charts how long each stage takes, what delivery costs and which carriers are used.
How a delivery estimate is built
A delivery estimate is production time added to transit time. Both are counted in business days, which run Monday to Friday and exclude U.S. federal holidays. An order that comes in past 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern Time starts its count on the following business day.
Delivery times and rates
One table covers every item in the shop.
| Address | Production | Carrier transit | Expected total | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | 2–4 business days | 4–8 business days | 6–12 business days | $6.99 for one item, then $3.00 for every additional item |
| All other countries | 2–4 business days | 12–22 business days | 14–26 business days | $15.00 for one item, then $6.00 for every additional item |
Each product page also shows a dated estimate for that item. It is an estimate rather than a promised date; peak seasons and severe weather can slow carriers.
Every order carries a shipping charge. The exact amount is calculated at checkout and displayed before any payment is taken.
Carriers we use
Within the U.S., the carrier is USPS, UPS or FedEx; which one depends on the item and the destination. Abroad, parcels travel with DHL, UPS, USPS international services or the postal service of the destination country. When the parcel leaves, we send its tracking number by email. Progress can be checked on our Track Order page or directly with the carrier.
Duties and import charges
International orders travel DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid). Whatever the destination country levies on arrival, whether import duty, tax or a customs fee, is the recipient’s to pay, and none of it is included in our prices or shipping rates. Countries missing from the checkout list are ones we do not currently ship to.
Details worth checking
- The shipping address. Parcels go exactly where the checkout form says. If something is wrong, tell us within 6 hours of checkout. A parcel sent back to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete can be sent out again after the new shipping charge has been settled.
- P.O. Boxes, APO and FPO. Some carriers will not deliver to these address types. Ask us by email before you order, and we will check yours.
- Split parcels. Items in one order may be produced at different locations, so they may arrive separately and carry separate tracking numbers.
- When a parcel stalls or goes missing. Contact us if tracking has not changed for 7 days, or if it shows as delivered and the parcel is not there. Please do so within 30 days after the closing date of the delivery estimate. The next steps are set out in our Return & Refunds Policy.
